I'm Moving!

Well y'all, I have something really exciting to share with you guys!

So as we all know, I live in Orlando and work at Disney World. My time with Disney is coming to an end in a few weeks because my cat Theodore and I will be moving to HOUSTON, TEXAS!! I received a job offer with a computer software company working with their sales team and I'm so excited to start this new chapter!

People keep asking me why would I ever leave Disney. I simply miss Disney being a vacation and something to look forward to. Working in the parks all the time made it hard to enjoy it outside of work. I would only go to the parks for food, drinks, or if my parents were in town and it just became something normal to me. I'm ready to get excited to visit Disney World again and have it become something special again. Also, if I ever wanted to work at Disney again, it will always be here. I feel like it is the best for me to leave, gain some more work experience that correlates with what I want to do long term, and then possibly come back one day.

Disney will always hold a place in my heart. It has given me some of the best friends I've ever had, incredible memories while working, and it gave me a chance to walk in Walt Disney's footsteps since he was the first non-official tour guide of Disneyland. I have loved getting the chance to wear plaid and rock the D pin but I'm excited to wear real people clothes again.

For all my Houston readers, if y'all have any recommendations for an apartment, things to do, or places that have amazing margaritas, let me know! I plan on writing some blog posts about packing up and moving, my first week in Texas, and who knows, maybe I'll start vlogging again.

Quick shoutout to my parents, friends, roommates, and coworkers who have dealt with me stressing out about finding a big girl job the last few months. Y'all rock.
